12-1cHave you considered a decision-making method that includes humans to mitigate the uncertainty of the AI system?• When using an AI system, the medical decisions for diagnostic purposes remain to be the full authority of the medical staff [52]. In addition, making decisions through interaction between the system and the medical staff can be one of the mitigation methods for uncertainty in the system since medical knowledge continues to evolve [57].
• Other options for such methods include using an AI model to implement a conversational model with the help of medical staff by outputting the final inference results as well as supplementing uncertainty in the training results, and using an AI system that encourages medical staff to check to allow input of proper data into the model [57].
• Consider mitigating uncertainties from using AI by involving humans directly or partially in the decision-making process, in addition to exception handling and security techniques.
