10-2Have you transparently provided the specification of the model on the AI model specification document?Determine applicability: Consider this question if you wish to transparently provide specifications of the system integrated with an AI algorithm or model to ensure trustworthiness, and determine if the requirement has been satisfied.
• One way to ensure transparency of an AI system is to prepare documents of diverse results from the development, test, and distribution processes of the AI model or service. If there are detailed documents of the model’s specification, you may transparently disclose the purpose of the model, input, output, performance, biases, and reliability upon user’s request to provide information about the AI model.
• WHO and the European Parliamentary Research Service (EPRS) request specification and documentation of adequate information before and after designing and building an AI model [51, 52]. The key information and components of an AI model are important factors for ensuring not only the transparency of AI in healthcare but also the traceability when a potential error occurs.
