Requirement 14 Ensuring traceability and modification history of the AI system

02-2aHave you formed an AI governance group?• The goal of an AI governance system is to manage the established ethical principles of the group to make sure the principles are carried out. The group is responsible for establishing internal policies and ensuring compliance with the policies. The group shall oversight the AI and predictive solutions that affect clinical care in the healthcare system which includes the implementation of the workflow and AI systems. This includes solutions aimed at clinical care (e.g. patient deterioration or sepsis), patient access, and resource allocation (e.g. length-of-stay predictions, inpatient capacity management) [9].
• Healthcare AI system governance is crucial for improving patient safety and responsibility, as well as clinician confidence, in order to improve adoption and meaningful health results. Therefore, when developing organizational operating principles or internal regulations, consider the possibility of the oversight of AI applications from assessment of validity and user acceptability of AI models to safe deployment through continuous monitoring for effectiveness [9].
