Requirement 14 Ensuring traceability and modification history of the AI system

15-1aDo you provide an explanation about the goal and objective of the AI service?• The service goal is the direction for what goal the service provider provides the AI system, whereas the objective is what and how the user can obtain something by using the provided functions. By explaining the goal and objectives of an AI service, the user can choose and use the appropriate functions that fit the context for which the service is used.
• As medical staff makes diagnoses by referring to the healthcare AI system, explanations for the service goal and objectives can be relatively easy and clear if the service users are medical staff. For the general public or patients as the users, they must be provided with detailed and straightforward explanations about the overall service in advance to avoid misuse and abuse of the service. The service goal and objectives must be explained for all users if healthcare AI systems in the future can make decisions and treatment in place of medical staff.
• Misuse or abuse of AI models or systems may develop new vulnerabilities or lead to unexpected social issues. Stakeholders must accordingly identify areas that could be potentially misused and abused, and inform users of related cases and penalties to raise their awareness. By doing so, improper use of the service that deviates from the intended purpose can be prevented.
