However, the specification should include additional information like the AI model’s mechanism since a doctor’s clinical decision is involved in healthcare AI model development.
• Examples of additional information are the intended clinical use, key hypotheses, and caution for interpreting the specification. Various measures are being suggested for writing the model specification in accordance with the characteristics of the healthcare sector. EPRS proposes the following as required information when preparing the model specification of an “AI passport” [51, 52].
