  • 01-2aHave you developed measures to remove risk factors and confirmed if the ripple effects were mitigated?
    • Sources of risk factors must be analyzed and relevant countermeasures must be prepared. Countermeasures are presented in ISO/IEC 24028:2020.

    • Based on the analyzed risk factors, apply first countermeasures for risk factors with the most significant ripple effect, and consider human involvement in the AI system’s judgment if the risk is highly severe. This is covered in detail in "Requirement 12."

    • For public/private services, ensure that risk identification and countermeasures are made from the perspective of promoting human-centric values and fairness, in accordance with the code of ethics grounded on the ethical guidelines for AI systems. Therefore, private companies developing public services should check the code of ethics of each institution and identify risk factors.

    • Then check if the risk factors have been removed or if the impact has been mitigated through a reassessment of ripple effects. Refer to "01-1a" for the ripple effect reassessment method.
