• The public institution utilizing the AI system must use the system for decision-making based on the fair and public interest. But if no information is provided to guarantee the system’s proper use, the AI system can be misused or abused, which can damage the public administration where ensuring transparency is essential.
• Since AI systems in public service can impact the majority of the public, it is also important to provide information to prevent users from misusing the AI services and ensure their proper use of the services.
• In order to enhance transparency, the public institution should explain the goal, intention, role, and scope of the AI service and guide users with information such as how the AI service’s decisions can affect an individual.
