04-2aIs the dataset provided by a trustworthy provenance?• If you are generating training data yourself, ensure the objectivity of the provenance (e.g. crowdworkers, outsourcing agencies) when acquiring data. Also, examine the provenance of the data to be collected to preemptively check whether there could be an issue with ownership and license.
• Consider whether the quality of the dataset is trustworthy when using an open-source dataset. Considerations may include whether there are any legal issues in the data, whether the scale of the dataset is sufficient for training, and if active discussions or updates are taking place for the dataset.
• The WEF recommends verifying in advance the trustworthiness of the dataset before training it to ensure data quality.
