02-2bIs the AI governance group composed of adequately trained members?• An AI governance group must be composed of personnel who are well aware of their roles and responsibilities. Members have a pivotal role in the entire process of the AI life cycle, and trustworthiness in AI systems can only be ensured by having each member thoroughly be aware of their roles, which include responsible management of each process.
• An AI governance group must be composed of adequately trained members based on varying backgrounds and expertise. In particular, the person in charge of preparing regulations must have broad knowledge of the principles, guidelines, standards, and so on in the field of AI ethics and trustworthiness, and it is vital to have technical abilities to correctly interpret and apply this to the organization’s operations, as well as the capacity to communicate with other managers. Also, each member must be adequately trained by providing relevant training to implement and manage stipulated policies.
