04-1Is there detailed information to support the accurate comprehension and utilization of data?• Metadata can be defined as data that provide information about other data. The attributes of raw data are recorded in the metadata to give information about the data when reusing the data later or collecting additional data in the same format.
• Information about the data, such as metadata and manuals, should be made available to developers and other stakeholders involved in the AI system to assist in their understanding and utilization of the collected data.
• Examples of information to be provided to stakeholders are the provenance and format of collected data; the collection, cleansing, and processing methods for data; data licenses; and protected attributes with potential biases.
